About the Role
We are seeking an IT Procurement & Licensing Specialist to manage software licensing, vendor relationships, and IT asset procurement across our organization and client environments.
This role plays a key part in optimizing IT spend, negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring licensing compliance while supporting the technology needs of a growing organization.

What You'll Do
IT Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Manage purchasing and renewals for software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and IT hardware.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and renewal terms with vendors and resellers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communications and escalations.
- Build strong relationships with software and hardware vendors.
Software Licensing & Compliance:
- Track and manage software licenses, subscriptions, and renewal timelines.
- Monitor software usage and conduct license audits to ensure compliance.
- Identify unused or underutilized licenses to reduce costs.
- Review licensing agreements and contracts to identify risks or savings opportunities.
Hardware Procurement & Asset Management:
- Coordinate procurement and lifecycle management of end-user devices including:
- Laptops and desktops.
- Mobile phones.
- Tablets and iPads.
- Other company-issued equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and asset documentation.
Budgeting & Cost Optimization:
- Track IT procurement budgets and spending.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate vendors and eliminate redundant tools.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives through vendor negotiations and license optimization.
- Provide reporting on IT spend, renewals, savings, and budget forecasts.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Review invoices for accuracy against contracts and usage.
- Maintain documentation for licenses, vendors, contracts, and hardware assets.
- Support internal and external IT licensing and asset audits.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in IT procurement, software licensing, vendor management, or IT asset management.
- Experience negotiating software contracts, renewals, or pricing.
- Familiarity with SaaS licensing models and subscription management.
- Experience managing hardware procurement for end-user devices is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and contract tracking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors, contracts, and renewal timelines.
